WHERE WE ARE:
        Thirty miles off the coast of North Carolina lies Hatteras Island.  The
island is part of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore, America's first national seashore and one of the country's most visited national parks.  
        Among the island's major attractions are miles of unspoiled beaches,
Gulf Stream charter boat fishing, world-famous windsurfing and kiting areas,
and the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse.  The lighthouse is the tallest lighthouse in
the nation and the symbol for North Carolina.  Its beacon can be seen 20
miles out to sea.  For more than a century, the light has warned mariners of
the treacherous Diamond Shoals.
        With the Atlantic Ocean on one side of us and the Pamlico Sound on
the other, we do not lack for inspiration.  VanGogh dawns and breathtaking sunsets bookend our days and enrich our existence on this fragile barrier
island.  
        Our private studio is located in Frisco, one of seven villages that occupy sand along Highway 12, the island's only main road.  We're easy to find if
